Best fish & chips around emmer green, caversham and maybe all of Reading (but I haven't been to them all yet).
Average prices - very good quality food.
Strangely though, the portion sizes are very hit & miss - sometimes you buy for one and have enough for at least two people, but sometimes you buy one to share and end up with a pair of rumbling tums.
Beware! Friday evening you could be waiting half an hour as this place is popular! -

Hole in the wall but well kept inside :-) under £6 for Haddock and chips. You don't leave with a fishy smell on your clothes :-) nice place!
